Community care committee
This committee initiates or supports local efforts to help our Creston-Kenilworth neighbors in need. We believe community care should be shared, community-led, and rooted in dignity and respect for all.
Our recent work includes:
Helping stock and maintain a
free
community fridge and pantry in our neighborhood
for all to use.
Organizing a free, all-gender
clothing swap event
Joining monthly, mutual-aid bike rides with
SE Uplift
and
Bike Stuff PDX
to stock free fridges and pantries in inner southeast Portland
Creating a website for
Groceries for Grout
, a long-standing non-profit in our neighborhood that gives food to people every week
Join us to help neighbors in need! You can
follow our events and meetings
