    Community care committee

    This committee initiates or supports local efforts to help our Creston-Kenilworth neighbors in need. We believe community care should be shared, community-led, and rooted in dignity and respect for all.

    Our recent work includes:
    • Helping stock and maintain a free community fridge and pantry in our neighborhood for all to use.
    • Organizing a free, all-gender clothing swap event 
    • Joining monthly, mutual-aid  bike rides with SE Uplift and Bike Stuff PDX to stock free fridges and pantries in inner southeast Portland
    • Creating a website for Groceries for Grout, a long-standing non-profit in our neighborhood that gives food to people every week
