Emergency Water Storage

For most of us, clean water has usually not been further away than the nearest faucet.  So, it is a little difficult to imagine that one day that water won’t be available, and it may not be available for many days to follow.  Water is so necessary to our survival, that it is generally accepted that we can live only 3 days without it.  When we force ourselves to imagine this possibility, immediately many questions come to mind:
  1. How much water will I need?
  2. How can I store it safely and for how long?
  3. What if I have to leave the place where I've stored it?
  4. What do I do when I run out of it?

Okay, we've got questions.  Let's get some answers!
